Summary

  • As a Director, responsible for implementing monthly departmental meetings, organizing rooms and engineering spaces, implementing a program focused on solving chronic problems with guests (BLT), and with that, seeking to increase general satisfaction in Maintenance & Up Keep and Intent to Recommend.
  • Responsible for the general resumption of maintenance contracts with outsourced companies that stopped performing their duties due to the pandemic and breach of contract.
  • Management of the entire structure of corrective and preventive maintenance of Critical Operation of a Submarine Cable Entry Data Center, working mainly in the control of all network assets, special air conditioning machines, generators, primary switchgear, infrastructure, access and control of used loads.
  • Coordinated the redeployment of product inventory control systems for the Data Center, new inventory layouts per company.
  • Reorganizing the work on preventive and corrective maintenance actions, in addition to creating new contracts with suppliers, aligning costs with the annual budget.
  • Executive Committee Member - title given for the ones in charge of hotel policies, as well as developing and implementing the annual Business Plan, and planning the next 10 years investments.
  • Managing the hotel's structure and building maintenance, planning preventive and repairing actions in all equipment, rooms, services and in the building itself.
  • Responsible for outsourcing the services needed for the building and patrimonial maintenance: machining, weld shop, tapestry, kitchen equipment, gardening and landscaping, glass shops, paintings, remodeling and furniture works.
  • Responsible for managing, controlling and coordination the Hotel projects, remodeling and expansion, constructions in general, such as remodeling the 444 apartments and 17 meeting rooms, expanding the SPA and Fitness areas, expanding the Cyber Café, lobby, bars, restaurants and external areas, since 2005 until now.
  • Responsible for implementation of new ideas and concepts for room renovations such as: controlled demolition of walls, fixing system with noise reduction, grab bars for ADA rooms - removable.
  • Studying and planning new Engineering investments regarding new constructions, expansions, remodeling, corrections and substitutions, defending with the owner the reasons and values involved.
  • Responsible for the assignments and resolutions of the entire Fire & Life Safety process of the Hotel, organizing and acquiring the certificates of competence and good functioning of equipment, pumps, generators, electrical panels, natural gas structure and fire panel, among others. Certifying all devices that make up the fire alarm system, including smoke detectors, individual alarm stations, drain valves, sprinkler systems, sound systems, elevator stop logic, etc.
  • Responsible for organizing the Complex's Directors and Managers, seeking to optimize general costs in purchases, energy and service labor.
  • Director responsible for the Hotel's Power management committee, working to create understanding among the employees and new attitudes toward energy saving.

  • Responsible for the reintegration of the Mesh and Transcendent system in the W Hotel and with that, repositioning the hotel, after 4 months, among the 3 best in the EMEA region in December 2022.
  • Responsible for the organization, command and performance of the corrective and preventive maintenance team for the submarine cable data center, using strict access control regulations in critical works and even dedicated support to solve problems with the structure in general.

  • Responsible for the modification of electric power purchase system, the captive market system to the free market system, generating a reduction from 25% to 40% of the costs of energy.
  • Energy cost management, optimizing the use of generators at peak hours, enabling the sale of energy to the market with profits of approximately US$ 4k/year.
