• CFD investigation on aerodynamic effects of a spoiler on racing cars. This study designs an aerodynamic rear-end spoiler for a Porsche 911 GT3, analyzing NACA 2412, NACA0012, and Selig 1223 airfoils. Results show predictable trends for NACA profiles and unique behavior for Selig 1223. Evaluations at 220mph indicate lift and drag improvements with increased spoiler height, offering insights for optimizing high-speed aerodynamics—software’s: STAR CCM+, SOLIDWORKS 2016x 64 edition.
• Numerical analysis on tensile and bending properties of GFRP and CFRP using nanofillers on ANSYS.This project uses ANSYS software to study the behavior of carbon and glass fiber angle and cross-ply laminates with added nanofillers under various loads. Results show significant effects of the fiber length and specimen weight on tensile and flexural strength, with detailed characterization of glass-reinforced epoxy composites revealing changes in tensile strength with varying filler percentages.
