Projects

- Master thesis on the topic Identification of optimal genes for Streptococcus suis proliferation in human cerebrospinal fluid by Transposon sequencing. For this project, I used various techniques like ChP organoid culturing, and CRISPR Cas9 mediated knock-out of genes identified by transposon sequencing and growth curve analysis of the wild-type and mutant.

-Wrote a PhD proposal following the NWO guidelines for a Master study course on the topic "The role of vraSR in meningitis development and antibiotic resistance."

- Review on anti-cancer drugs(2020)- Studied and documented 50 anticancer drugs and did a comparative analysis using ADMET lab

- Suggestion of a Potential New Treatment Method for Hunter's Syndrome (2021) - Literature Survey to analyze the target site (EGFR) and find the lead molecule and identify isoflavones as potent drugs. Used AutoDock to check the binding of 5 isoflavones isolated from different plant sources. Used PyMol to analyze the binding sites. Studied if this can be a possible method to treat Hunter's Syndrome.
