Over the course of my work at Columbus, I learned to:

• Operate cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.
• Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
• Assist customers with returns, refunds and resolving transaction issues.
• Address customer needs and made product recommendations to increase sales.
• Greet customers entering store and respond promptly to their needs.
• Work flexible schedule and extra shifts to meet business needs.

The atmosphere at Columbus was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with customers from behind the counter all day!

Last summer, I helped out the photography agency VII (read: Seven) ACADEMY for one of their upcoming expositions as part of the Arles international photography festival ("Rencontres d'Arles"). The texts, which ranged from descriptive biographies and technical information to creative writing regarding the works at display, needed to be edited, translated and proofread from English to French and from French to English. During my time with the Academy, I:

• Referred to reference materials such as dictionaries, lexicons and encyclopedias to verify translation accuracy.
• Informed myself about the texts' contexts of creation and writers' biographies in order to render the texts' tones, emotions and implied language as closely and loyally as possible.

• Elected Student Delegate in 2020
• Member of UNICEF Youth Ambassadors program
• Received high school diploma with an average mark of 18/20 with the specializations Art History, Geopolitics and Foreign Languages and Cultures
