Work History

Whale OMTL/ OMC/Ops/Marine Supervisor

Shell UPD
01.2020 - Current

I am currently the Operations Supervisor/Maine Supervisor now for Whale Offshore Operations. I originally came to Whale as the OMTL and then moved into the OMC role. Whale is a replica of Vito offshore platform. I was actively involved as a leader in Commissioning focal point and activities, OR&A development of the asset including procedure development, writing of operation manuals, FAT's, and training. I actively engaged both personally and with the operations team to ensure safety and quality during construction and commissioning and worked closely with the rest of the Operations leadership team to safely start-up the facility and work through issues. This is my third Deepwater project in the Gulf of Mexico that I have been a part of. I have backfilled numerous times for the OIM on Whale, and I have been given the ready now green light for an OIM position. Safety culture and team unity plays an important role in the success of a project and sets the bar for where everyone wants to work.

Appomattox Operations Supervisor

Shell UPD
04.2016 - 01.2020

I am currently the Operations Supervisor for Appomattox Offshore Operations. Appomattox is one of the most complex assets in the GOM. I was actively involved as a leader in OR&A development of the asset including procedure development, writing of operation manuals, FAT's, and training. I actively engaged both personally and with the operations team to ensure safety and quality during construction and commissioning and worked closely with the rest of the Operations leadership team to safely start-up the facility and work through issues. Thus far the preparation and training has led to a 94% uptime in the first 5 month of operation. This is my second Deepwater project in the Gulf of Mexico that I have been a part of. I have backfilled numerous times for OMTL on Appomattox, and I do have my OIM license. Safety culture and team unity plays a big role in the success of a project and sets the bar for where everyone wants to work.
