PROJECTS

PROJECTS

01/06/2019 – 30/09/2021, Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering

Parachute team leader:

  • Wrote and published articles in renown science journals AAST and AA about parachute testing methods
  • Worked on a new deployment system and tested it in the wind tunnels of TU Delft for ESA’s REXUS-BEXUS programme

Recovery engineer:

  • Worked with in-house software developed specifically for parachute behaviour
  • Set up advanced wind-tunnel tests for our parachutes in the TU Delft wind tunnel, specifically for Stratos-IV rocket project on
which I produced the main parachute, did some CFD analysis on parachutes and nose-cone

Board member (full-time):

  • Organized events and webinars, for many of DARE’s external relations such as ESA, Airbus, Rocket Lab, and more while
managing a team of 200+ members
  • Wrote financial proposals, negotiated with and delivered sponsor requests while also managing social media, merchandise
