- Performing control tracking and ensuring that all quality sheets are filled properly.
- Ensuring that all health and safety rules are implemented and followed.
- Recording of results on the submission form, capturing, entering results, and generating report from LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
- Performing monthly verifications on balances and pipettes.
- Prepare and participate in Proficiency testing.
- Assisting in other departments when the need arises.

- Communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Stand in for the laboratory manager when absent from work. To oversee and ensure smooth operation.
- Do monthly charge out for the lab clients.
- Issuing of medication.
- Communicating with maintenance staff of any maintenance issues.
- Maintain stock levels.
- Training farmers to do sampling and to adhere to triple layer packaging.
