Experienced Work Center Support Engineer familiar with user support and root cause analysis. Advanced knowledge of SAP (EWM & ECC) operations and dedication to see issues through to end. Works well in remote and desk-side environments.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Provide Support: Be readily available to assist logistics handlers, Logistics Leads and Team Leaders with technical questions, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. This includes physical trouble shooting as well as systematic trouble shooting.
2. Maintain 5S Standards: Ensure that the work areas and production floor adhere to the 5S principles.
3. Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote safety protocols, ensuring that all safety guidelines are followed in the work center. This includes identifying and addressing potential safety hazards.
4. Quality Assurance: Collaborating within the Work Centre with all stakeholders to maintain and improve the flow of goods. Monitor and report any quality issues and assist in implementing corrective actions to ensure the correct processes are followed.
5. Technical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance to optimize warehouse system functionality.
6. Equipment troubleshooting: Assist in the breakdowns and the utilization of equipment. But also using monitoring tools to detect issues before they affect system performance. Troubleshoot remotely, collaborating with off-site teams for efficient issue resolution.
7. Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to the team as needed, ensure up to date work instructions are in place. By maintaining accurate documentation for knowledge transfer and improvement.
8. Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest/implement process enhancements to increase productivity and reduce waste but also taking the lead in unresolved issues and ensure timely resolution and communication.
9. Problem Resolution: Act as a point of contact for resolving issues and discrepancies that arise during logistical processes.
10. Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with production teams and support other departments as required to achieve overall operational goals.
11. Reliable attendance: Consistently fulfill the work responsibilities as required by the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute the timely completion of warehouse tasks to sustain Prodrive's manufacturing operations
• Accurately follow logistics procedures and adhere to quality standards • Learn and work within SAP EWM, our logistics software
• Receive inbound packages and sort them to warehouse stock locations • Pick components and sub-assemblies for production orders as staged by the production planner • Internally transport goods throughout the factory, to/from the production floor
• Operate pallet trucks to transport goods and materials throughout the plant
• Package and label products for shipment to customers
• Prepare outbound shipments for delivery
• Conduct periodic inventory counting to maintain accurate stock levels • Escalate problems to the department Team Leader in a timely manner • Reports directly to the Logistics Team Leader
