- Midwife at a primary care midwifery clinic in the Netherlands. This includes preconception, prenatal, antenatal and postnatal care in which I carry full medical responsibility.
- Primary midwifery care in the Netherlands includes the care for low-risk pregnancies. Our most important job is gatekeeping and timely diagnosis of complication so further care can be sought. We are trained and skilled to deal with acute obstetric complications but will refer if possible.

- First for departure MSF working in a BemONC facility outside of the Kutupalong refugee camp in Bangladesh.
- In the steering role I was able to learn from another IMS MWAM what the role entails. In these 6 months in project I was interim MWAM for 6 weeks due to gap fill and shared the role with the other MWAM for 3 months.
- Responsibiliies included: 24/7 on call support for the maternity ward, coordination of referrals, close collaboration with all other relevant (non-)medical staff, writing the AP, training the midwifery staff, ensuring and evaluating the implementation of MSF guidelines, HR management, analyzing data and reports, supervision of all pharmacy related activities for the SRH department and assisting in obstetric emergencies.
- POCUS certification was completed.
