• In the last 4 years; I have been both a Development and Execution Executive on the Africa Content team working across both scripted and unscripted slate, and I have played a critical role in identifying, shaping and delivering must watch content for our members in Sub-Saharan Africa; making the Africa Content team; one of the most successful content teams within EMEA
• During my tenure, I have been a Creative Lead on multiple projects, such as Unseen, Blood Sisters, Blood and Water, Savage Beauty, How to Ruin Love, Marked, Fatal Seduction Ss2, Yoh Christmas to mention but a few
• I have also been privileged to work on our Unscripted slate as a second lead on Young Famous & African Ss 2 and a Co- Lead on Love Never Lies South Africa; both of which had remarkable performance in SSA
• I've also in the last one year; stepped in to assist in our Licensed slate and helped to streamline our buying strategy and operational workflows to align with the broader EMEA Licensing strategy
• In 2024; I was also the Content team informed captain working closely with the Grow Creative team to design Above the Line Training initiatives in South Africa

• My role as Co-Director and EP was to oversee strategic growth of the company and lead content development, creation and production processes

Company Overview: Media Pros Africa is a Distribution and media consultancy Company based in Nairobi Kenya

• Our scope of work mainly involved distribution of content and consulting for Media related entities; including Broadcasters, Production Companies, Film Festivals in strategy development, Content development, Marketing & Distribution
• I was the Creative lead working with our clients to build strategy and create content slates that catered to their audience needs
• At the same time; I was vital in offering support to Production companies to meet their commissioning briefs chain; leading creative process, production, post production supervision, packaging and delivery as per contracting terms

• As the Show runner for the 7th edition of the Africa Magic Viewer's Choice Awards (AMVCA) a live awards show; I was responsible for all creative, production and successful delivery of a 2-hour Red-carpet show as well as a 3 hour awards show; both broadcasted Live on DSTV
• The scope of work included; creative; crewing, overseeing FOH, managing Back of House & Live broadcast including sourcing teams and OB facilities

• Responsible for commissioning, development, execution and delivery of multiple projects. Key project highlights are: The Voice Nigeria season 2, Multiple long form Telenovelas, Drama Series, Sitcoms and made for TV movies
• Responsible for production budget control in line with M-Net finance policies
• Responsible for briefing cross function teams on the creative aspects of the shows for promotional and launch purposes

• Responsible for all Creative, Production and Delivery for all original Productions
• Responsible for planning, managing and coordinating all M-Net Nigeria productions in line with the Region's business strategy
• Responsible for Commissioning and strategic development of local content for Africa Magic Channels in Nigeria with a core aim to increase audience base across the bouquets
• Implementing agreed production plans as informed by use of market audience research, competitive analysis and trends
• Developing and establishing effective systems, procedures and SOP's for content partners in the region
• Responsible for forecasting, planning and managing of annual Production budget's in line with finance guidelines
• Responsible for implementing production budgeting systems and budget controls for Commissioned projects in line with internal finance procedures
• People development including identification and grooming of potential successor(s)

• Logistical planning, program design, panels/workshops planning, budgeting, jury sourcing, screening, marketing etc
• For Disco-Pro; I co-designed the pitching competition; shortlisted the entries, communicated to the entrants and hosted the competition during DISCOP TV & Film market in South Africa in consultation with Basic Lead

• Series Producer on M-Net Nigeria's 1st Telenovella Project – Hotel Majestic (260 Eps)
• Involved in story development & creative implementation of story
• In charge of cast and crew recruitment
• In charge of Production design and editorial control of the project in Lagos Nigeria
• In charge of total production budget and controls
• Responsible for post-production and delivery

• Developing & Implementing M-Net East Africa channel' content strategy in accordance to viewer trends & brand objectives
• In charge of editorial control for the channels; content Acquisition, production, scheduling & overall performance
• Responsible for the Publicity & Marketing of all M-Net local productions & Africa Magic brand in E.A
• Developing annual CAPEX & OPEX budgets in line with the business Strategy
• Financial management: Control of the operational budget, approval of costs; ensuring the accuracy of costs and payments to ensure cost effective management of company resources
• Recruiting, management and development of staff

• Local Content Strategy: Developing & creative management of the East African Content projects
• Issuing Commissioning Briefs: Responsible for competitively identifying local Production Companies to produce original content for M-Net Africa Magic brand in the region
• Quality Control: In charge of editorial & technical approvals of all programmes produced within the region to ensure they met broadcast standards

• Responsible for identifying suitable content, negotiating with suppliers, programmes acceptance, issuing of offer letters and liaising with scheduling department at transmission in South Africa

• Receiving briefs, collaborating with the Producer and Director on transforming concepts into reality & overseeing every aspect of Pre-production, Production & Post Production logistics
