Josephine Serrarens

In short, something about me. I am Dutch, but grew up in Germany and Belgium after which I have lived in Amsterdam for over 10 years. Now, my partner and I are looking for new input and we are excited to start creating new stories abroad. That why I am looking for a job in a new sector.

Due to many relocations, I adapt quickly to new situations, surroundings and take on challenges with a lot of energy and positivity. I am motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and a team spirit, looking for a new challenge.

• Overseeing the opening of a new daycare location. Making the location safety proof, organizing the interior for educational needs, training and coaching (managing staff, maintaining smooth daily operations, communicating with key stakeholders, training and supervising a new team of 5 staff members)
• Collaborated with the owner of in the development of a new department of expertise for the organization, Expertise Team. Helped develop policy on aggression and emotion regulations, setting up the base structures for a multidisciplinary team for the future to effectively guaranteeing quality in childcare and improve processes.
• Implemented a course form the GGD Amsterdam to schools and teachers in how to talk about sexual education.

I love to be on the water, kite surfing and sailing escpecially. As soon as the cold hits, I start dreaming of the mountains and skiing. Love board and card games, travelling and everything that has to do with food. Talking about it, eating it, cooking it.
