As Business Unit Manager I am responsible for all vendor related sales. In this position the following roles report to me; Business Development Managers, Sales Engineers and Inside Sales. The business unit
is a team of 15+ people. In this role I am also part of the Management Team (MT).
Main responsibilities:
- Meeting the budget for all vendors within the Business Unit (+/- 20 vendors)
- Determine the sales strategy for all sales related roles
- Create a format and write a business plan for the vendors in the Business Unit
- Coaching of team
- Budget planning
- Strategic vendormanagement
Responsible for the business development of several vendors (for instance Sophos and Sonicwall)
Responsible for new business development in cooperation the Business Development Manager
