I started off as an intern at the Utrecht University Medical Center, where I primarily spent my time working behind the service desk. My responsibilities included assisting colleagues with issues such as Outlook or Excel, both remotely and by visiting their offices. My tasks varied between working at the desk and providing on-site support, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our team's operations.
I worked a total of 7 years at Utrecht University Medical Center. After completing my internship, my team leader offered me a permanent position as an application manager.
After a year or two of serving as an application manager, I was promoted to IT coordinator, responsible for leading a team of 12 individuals. This team was tasked with providing service desk support as well as on-site assistance.
The next few years saw rapid development as I received promotions and was offered many new challenges, leading to increased responsibilities.
Such responsibilities included project management, IT architecture, and ASL (Application Services Library) management.
As of now, I also hold the role of Product Owner for our division, and I am responsible for the entire IT infrastructure.
