  • sperm and embryos rederivations for researchers to bring back the mouse colony on the facility.
  • giving assistance for the shipment of frozen sperm or embryos sample to overseas in dry shipper or dry ice mode.
  • superovulations of donor mice for embryos productions by intra peritoneal injections of hormones.
  • planning of daily work schedules for the AMF (embryo) team.
  • maintaining the datas for the storage of frozen and embryo in our cryobank system.
  • taking care and the maintainence of the transgenic room equipments. Making stock solutions for routine usage.
  • making in-house transfer glass pipettes for daily usage.
  • performing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) both for sperm quality control and sperm recovery.
  • maintaining the mice colony for our embryos production, in particular the availability of the fertile males, vasectomised males, F1 females and donor females.
  • filling up and maintaining the liquid nitrogen tank on the floor.

Research Technician

  • embryos isolation both for zygote and blastocysts microinjections.
  • implantations of injected embryos into pseudopregnant females.
  • toe clippings for genotyping.
  • husbandy work - cleaning & changing dirty mouse cages.
  • superovulation of donor female mice for embryos productions.
  • ordering of mice externally.
  • handling of rats for antibody production for the research groups – injection of antigen & then bleeding the rat for the blood.
  • production of our own vasectomized males for our in-house usage

Research Technician

Institute of Molecular & Cell Biology (IMCB)
05.1988 - 01.2000
