Brought in 5 years a new Cardio-Thoracic Department from scratch to become one of the most innovative in the country and a healthcare reference in its own region. Participated to created a strong team spirit and self awareness.
Participated actively in the creation of a new cardiovascular unit, binding a new team and creating work opportunities and innovative technologies. Among those first use of the Da Vinci robot in cardiac surgery and first use of stem cell therapy for myocardial regeneration in Italy.
Organized and participated in 2001 in a humanitary mission in Yemen, performing the first off-pump CABG in Yemen.
