• Keeping abreast of, and ensuring the company’s compliance with, relevant local and international HSE legislation.
• Compiling the company’s reports and statistics to identify leading and lagging indicators.
• Conducting daily toolbox meetings and periodic interactive HSE meetings for effective project planning and an increase in safety awareness.
• Organizing and participating in health and safety meetings to ensure team synergy and continuous improvement.
• Conducting environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
• Liaising with the organization’s HSE systems and procedures, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements.
• Ensuring contractors' qualifications through audits and inspections of the HSE systems and procedures for maximum implementation.
• Collaborating with relevant authorities to update procedures on the safe handling of hazardous substances and waste management.
• Executing site inspections and process monitoring via site walks, KPI reviews, checklist implementations, etc.
• Coordinate the investigation and recording of incidents, accidents, complaints, and cases of ill health.
• Develop and execute periodic site-related HSE training programs for all employees.
