My name is Omran, and I am 32 years old - Syrian professional carpenter
I inherited this profession from family, which has a long history in manufacturing home furniture and wooden decorations, our workshop was one of the best workshops in the city, known to be the home of this industry near Damascus, with almost 5000 workshops working in this sector.
I started learning at a very young age, and became skilled at the age of 15.
After the high school I studied computers and Internet networks, which was and is still my hobby and passion in life alongside my work
The war broke out in Syria, and in 2018 I had to leave to Turkey and where I completed my study in the field of website designing, but unfortunately, I didn't get university degree due to some complications in Turkey.
I got a professional certificate in carpentry and decoration works in Türkiye, after undergoing a training course of 750 training hours, added to my excellent skills in using all manual carpentry machines.
I have 20 years of experience working as a carpenter in Syria, Qatar and Turkey, and that has helped me to work in engineering companies and carry out all carpentry works for some projects, that includes interior and external carpentry works - kitchens - doors – ceilings decorations
