Things I did as a Cashier.

I smiled and welcomed each customer, then scanned their items quickly and accurately. I accepted cash, cards, and mobile payments, gave correct change, and made sure transactions were handled safely. When customers wanted returns or exchanges, I followed store rules, processed refunds or exchanges, and kept a record. I answered questions about prices, sales, and rewards, and helped people sign up when they wanted. I kept my register area tidy and stocked with bags and receipt paper, and told a manager if the equipment had problems. At the end of my shift I counted my drawer, and cleaned the area. I watched for anything unusual to help prevent theft and worked with coworkers to keep the line moving and restock nearby shelves.

The things I did as a Shelf Stocker.

I kept up-to-date with our products so I could help customers find the right items and answer their questions clearly. I regularly checked shelves for damaged or expired items and removed them promptly. I restocked displays efficiently to make sure products were available and easy to see. When customers needed help locating something, I guided them to the right aisle and suggested alternatives when appropriate. I communicated clearly with my teammates and worked closely with them to improve and speed up our restocking process.

I greeted customers with a smile and helped them find the right sizes and styles. I kept up with sales and new arrivals so I could suggest complete outfits and matching pieces. I walked customers around the store, grabbed extra sizes from the stockroom, and arranged displays so items looked inviting.

In the fitting room I checked in politely, offered different sizes, and suggested other options if something didn’t fit. I kept the sales floor tidy: refolding clothes, returning items from fitting rooms, and restocking when needed. I worked with my teammates to refresh displays and solve any customer issues calmly and kindly, making shopping at C&A pleasant and easy.
