Lead Remanufacturing Technician

Achievements :

I began my career as a Remanufacturing Technician Associate in the automotive industry. After one year, I was promoted to Lead Remanufacturing Technician. In this role, I took on additional responsibilities, including training new hires at workstations and joining the Emergency Response Team to support the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department. Throughout my tenure, my rapid learning, strong interest, and collaboration with team members and engineers enabled me to contribute to process improvements. I was also involved in the development of new manufacturing instructions. This position allowed me to acquire valuable engineering and problem-solving skills. As a Lead, I gained extensive leadership experience in team management, achieving KPIs, preparing reports for management, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.


Main responsibilities :

  • Leading a team of 20+ technicians, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Testing and adjusting electronic and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Replacing components and parts to ensure vehicles met safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Utilizing computer-aided diagnostic systems to identify and diagnose vehicle and battery issues.
  • Being able to perform and sustain 5S at the workstations.
  • Following safety protocols to ensure the safety of both the HV battery pack and the technicians.
  • Utilizing schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair complex systems.
