I was born in Istanbul in 1969. I graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in July 1992. I completed my Ophthalmology specialist training at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in December 1998. I completed my compulsory service at Bartın State Hospital. In 2002, I started working as a Chief Resident at Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital. I received my Associate Professorship title in September 2013. After the closure of Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital in April 2019, I started working at the Ophthalmology Clinic of Ankara Bilkent City Hospital. I received my Professorship from the Health Sciences University in April 2021. I currently work as a Professor of Ophthalmology at the Ophthalmology Clinic of Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, Health Sciences University. I specialize in retina, vitreoretinal surgery, cataract surgery, and stem cell therapy. I conduct educational and scientific research activities.
