  • In school, we learn and constantly improve our legal research skills through many tasks and written assignments For these, we have to identify and choose the right legal frameworks, professional articles, and other sources Moreover, at my internship, I mostly did legal research and created a comprehensive memorandum for my boss on the next steps our client should take

  • During our legal studies, we are constantly required to draft professional memorandums, letters of advice, and argumentative assignments such as bail applications Except for doing mostly legal research, I was asked at my previous internship to write drafts of arguments for senior attorneys, which they later altered and used

  • Corporate law

  • I have completed two semesters of corporate law and a minor in corporate social responsibility In the upcoming semester, I will study sales and logistics, which include parts of maritime law

  • From our first year at the university, we were taught negotiation skills and had multiple assignments to hone those skills I am also currently finishing a minor in dispute resolution, which comprises advanced commercial negotiation
