I currently form part of the EMEA Central Product and Commercial team with a cross functional role across the various lines of business Uber owns.

• I am the main point of contact for DocuSign CLM including review, approval and signature management.
• Template creation and maintenance across all lines of business.
• Main point of contact for the sourcing and procurement team for drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for various vendors we engage.
• Main point for marketing campaign reviews including reviewing communications and risk assessment from a legal perspective.
• Main legal support point of contact for our internal sales team and their business deals. Mainly assisting with contract review and negotiations.
• Create and maintain cross functional processes across all lines of business. Mainly related to the handling of our internal and external contractual policies.

I formed part of the EMEA market legal team and support with navigating complex contractual issues and provide multi-jurisdictional advice to each market ensuring risk mitigation and EU law compliance. I managed all legal requests that come through the designated legal requests portal from each local team. I directly assisted with advertising law compliance requests and queries.

Other day to day tasks include;

• Manage external counsel and internal stakeholders
• Draft internal processes, training and project plans
• Assisting and drafting contracts and policy review
• Managed the contract management system and end to end contract life cyle
• Legal Research

I formed part of the Flexforce team within Uber and was in charge of supporting with both the administrative and employment function. My main responsibility was ensuring that the correct process was applied when managing the global contingent workforce population. I drafted handbooks for hiring managers for each region explaining Uber's internal policy on external worker management. I shadowed contract negotiations with employment agencies and also reviewed the master services agreements for each employment agency.

I was also entrusted with creating a master legal requirements matrix which served as reference for each country's employment related requirements specifically for temporary workers. This matrix included all information for each jurisdiction Uber had external worker headcount.

My responsibilities can be summed up as follows;

• Set up a contract repository and managed the contractual process
• Formulating Internal Policies
• Legal Research and Compliance
• Maintaining worker and supplier relationship

Same tasks and responsibilities as stated above within Uber's Flexforce team.

I assisted the company DPO and Senior legal counsel with data protection related issues mainly contract review, negotiation and maintaining the contract database.
