Work History

Post-doctoral Researcher

TU Delft
Delft
11.2021 - Current
  • Designed and fabricated micro-scale inner ear implants for drug delivery application using two-photon polymerization technique (using Nanoscribe).
  • Analyzed the effect of various Nanoscribe printing parameters on mechanical and chemical properties of the printed specimen.
  • Designed mechanical testing methods to measure mechanical properties (compression and torsion) of the real size and upscaled implants.
  • Coordinated and managed laboratory projects and experiments.
  • Prepared samples for analysis by performing complex sample preparation tasks.
  • Developed new protocols and improved existing laboratory processes.

Ph.D.

TU Delft
Delft
04.2017 - 01.2022
  • Developed nanofabrication techniques to fabricate dual functional (bactericidal and cell-instructive) nanopatterns with clinically relevant mechanical properties.
  • Designed and developed and atomic force microscopy (AFM)-based technique to measure mechanical properties of individual nano-micro pillars.
  • Developed a precise and facile nanoimprinting technique for high throughput patterning of various types of surfaces with nanoscale and submicron patterns.
  • Designed and developed novel crumpling technique for the fabrication of 3D nanopatterned biomaterials with controlled mechanical properties.
