I am currently employed with Nova Scotia Health as a Senior Systems Analyst, where I am a subject matter expert on various health care related applications and systems. I am responsible for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for various departments within Nova Scotia Health. Prior to this, I was employed as a Biomedical Engineering Technologist at IWK Health in Halifax. In 2012, I graduated from O’Donel High School, Mount Pearl, NL with an academic diploma (French Immersion Certification), before completing the Electronics Engineering Technology (Biomedical) program at the College of the North Atlantic, St. John’s in 2018. My education and previous work experience have given me many transferable skills which are necessary to work independently, and/or with a team. In my current role, I maintain a productive relationship with relevant stakeholders such as clinical staff, vendors, and other health care related representatives. I am comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and have also developed effective problem-solving strategies, necessary to meet the demands of the job. I always take considerable pride in my work, am dedicated, organized, and can easily adapt to new work environments and challenges.
