Joel Schröder

I am a Young Peace Ambassador for LE CERCLE UNIVERSEL DES JEUNES AMBASSADEURS DE LA PAIX. I was elected on the 6th of September 2021 and two weeks later on the 21st of September, World Peace Day, of 2021 I was nominated Young Peace Ambassador.

Some of the projects that I have created/participated/prepared/presented are:

• the International Music Festival for Peace called "Canto pela Paz/Sing4Peace" (13th of November 2021)
• the Diocesan Youth Day as a preparation for the World Youth Days (WTD) in Portugal
• the International Forum of Young Ambassadors for Peace organized in Manila, (Philippines)

• at the request of the International Organization "Jesuit Refugee Service", I organized a collection of goods for Ukrainian refugees
• teaching in the School of Young Peace Ambassadors
• International Congress of Living Peace 2022

I am currently preparing and going to present:

• 3 mornings program of the World Youth Days, the biggest event for young people in the world
• the International Music Festival for Peace called "Canto pela Paz/Sing4Peace" (3rd of August 2023)

• Evaluated student performance.
• Incorporated multiple types of teaching strategies into classroom.
• Worked cooperatively with other teachers and administrators to help students reach learning objectives.
• Participated in department meetings to provide input to colleagues about class planning, content and student achievement and improvement.
• Incorporated exciting and engaging activities to achieve student participation and hands-on learning.
• Implemented creative ways to foster curiosity for complex principles through hands-on learning and planned activities.

My responsibilities were to investigate, gather information, make a template for the article, interview specialists and write articles.

The International Laboratory “World Man” was an international event that had the active participation of thousands of teenagers from all over the world. The 1st week, of a more formative nature, took place through workshops, social initiatives, trainings, being also an integral formation for Peace.

The following week, through various concrete initiatives, in several European countries, such as: support for social centers for the elderly and kindergartens, cleaning and rehabilitation of public areas, etc. The delegation from Portugal, where I was including, was sent on a mission to several cities in northern Italy.
