- My graduation internship took place at the Erasmus MC in the hematology department. During my internship I researched the structure of the fibrin network of the clot formed under flow and clots formed under static conditions to understand the properties of fibrin networks.
- Techniques that have been performed: dialyzing the fibrinogen solution, salting out the fibrinogen variants and checking the purity of the fibrinogen variants on the SDS-PAGE gel.
- The clot of purified fibrin variants were formed under static conditions and under flow with the Chandlerloop and Flowchamber.
- Co-authorship obtained in a paper called, "Effect of flow and shear rate on structural properties and fibrinolysis of the fibrin network" (to be published).
