A 5-months internship assignment with WASTE NL (FINILOOP programme) as part of my master degree requirements. The role involves conducting in-depth research and analysis on optimization of environmental and social outcomes in the plastic waste recycling sector in India through strategic supply chain management to foster a more sustainable and inclusive circular economy.

• Managing all supply chain activities for a group of seven companies specialized in industrial gases production & trading.
• Supply chain planning & cost saving.
• Create and maintain good relationships with suppliers, as well as obtaining new credit facilities.
• Managing the execution of material requisitions and purchase orders for goods, technical equipment, and services.
• Responsible for all technical purchases.
• Follow-up orders, production lead time, deliveries and payments.
• Lead supply chain problems investigation and analysis.
• Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications.
• Conduct annual vendors evaluation.
• Closely monitoring all local & international shipments.
• Enhance supply chain performance through development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) that reduced cost & efficiently improved responsiveness.
• Manage the warehouse and ensure proper storage.
• Oversee all inventory and stock levels. Forecasting of production raw materials demand & use this data for supply chain planning.
• Manage all international shipping process: Sea-freight, air-freight, road transport, customs clearance, required local approvals, shipping documents, and local transportation until safe delivery to warehouse.
• Key person of contact for all supply chain and procurement matters.

• Global Sourcing: market research to identify all potential suppliers, acquire offers, and evaluate new suppliers and their qualifications.
• Materials supply planning & monitoring stock levels.
• Negotiate best deals for pricing and supply contracts.
• Develop and execute supplier approvals, offers comparisons, supplier selection, and product ordering strategies.
• Create, monitor, and manage weekly batches of purchase orders.
• Monitor deliveries & receiving process.
• International shipping of purchased goods.
• Improved cost savings - over 2 Million Qatari Riyals savings in purchasing & shipping.

• Created CAD models and drawings for electrical power distribution, fire alarm system, and telecom systems designs.
• Prepare bill of quantities for electrical and LV systems.
• Track approval status of electricity permits submissions.
• Projects issues discussion and negotiation with authorities engineers to obtain final design approvals.

• Prepare drilling tools and do all documentations.
• Install and calibrate sensors, program MWD and LWD tools, and troubleshoot all signal problems.
• Track depth, monitor drilling mechanics logs and formation evaluation logs to locate hydrocarbons.
• Send reports and logs on timely basis.
• Prepare inventory sheets and material order requests.
• Download information from drilling tools, analyze data, and prepare final reports
