I am a driven and enthusiastic student, practical and solution-oriented, with a broad interest and a healthy ambition, especially in the field of Security and International Law. I find it fascinating to analyze the issues of our time and understand the interests, perspectives and solutions at play.
I was a part of the board of the Book Club of UCM, where I helped plan and advertise events, as well as communicate with students interested in our activities.
My role during the simulation, which was a Summit to discuss defence-spending, was of defence counsellor. I had to argue and defend the interests of my delegation.
During my time as Head of Editing for The Bell, I had to coordinate and proofread several articles to be published on the issues. I had to interact with my colleagues at the Bell but also with prospective writers and be able to critically assess pieces and deliver constructive feedback to authors.
The research project about the perception of the military dictatorship in Brazil entailed designing and executing a qualitative research project, including data collection, coding and thematic analysis. I conducted interviews with subjects and presented my findings before a board for approval.
