This role involves collaborating with product life-cycle management unit (within Material research

& Supply Chain department) to plan and incorporate logistics requirements into meet sales and

Reducing material wastage by 15%.

• Increasing yield value to 99.5% from 97.5%, thereby increasing profitability.

• Reorganizing the warehouse to ensure compliance with FIFO and LEAN.

• Developing a 24/7 approach system for tracking distribution from the Plant to Wholesalers and

High-end retailers.

• Requesting and making a successful case for inventory analyst that will work with production

analyst to reduce wastage and increase factory wide efficiency.

• Requesting and making a successful case for the consultation/ inclusion of Plant Quality Control

lead in procurement decisions and with respect to sensitive materials.

Major Tasks Include:

• Creating and maintaining a monthly project plan.

• Proactively managing materials availability by making all materials and parts required for WIP are

available on schedule.

• Evaluate and report on KPIs.

• Developing and implementing procedures for inventory control and logistics management.

• Analyzing database on material and product durability, usage and yield, and with the aim of

finding bottlenecks and other issues that might stall the supply process.

• Contributing to the further development of the product life cycle management unit.

• Escalating unresolvable inventory and planning issues to management (country manager).

• Working with Factory manger and production planner to align materials to meet the

monthly/quarterly production and distribution targets.

• Ensuring all inventories on hand are handled properly in Navision throughout the reconciliation

process and month-end closing.

• Ensuring the transfer and ownership of finished products away from production halls.

•Confirming and balancing orders with receipts, both for material requisition and product

transfers.

• Managing 3PL relationships and vendors.

• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards

• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals

• Maintaining dock and storage facilities in an organized manner.

• Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks,

forklifts) .
