Daniël Kortooms

In the winter of 2023, I connected with the founder of Hey Hungry, a startup launched in the summer of 2023 in Amsterdam. I immediately saw great potential in the concept — and the founder saw potential in me. Since he was managing several businesses at once, I took the lead in scaling the company as quickly and efficiently as possible.

My contributions included recruiting staff, attracting new clients, reaching out to and negotiating with potential investors, developing the business concept, and maintaining key relationships. We complemented each other well, and today I work closely with the founder in a more strategic role.

On average, I work for six festivals each year during the peak summer months. I enjoy the organized chaos, the hard work under the sun, and the long, intense days that come with it

ABC Multiservice is a dedicated company responsible for setting up temporary homes for housing associations, as well as handling various tasks for residents of social housing, under commissions from companies like Q-build. My work involved a wide range of activities that are essential for creating comfortable living spaces.

I was involved in tasks such as moving, clearing out spaces, furnishing, demolition, painting, laying floors, drilling, and routing. Each job presented its own challenges, but it was the variety that made the work so rewarding
