I injured my back lifting a generator..I imagine I injured an already injured back even more. Went on to have 2 failed back surgeries over 15 years. And was to have a 3rd..but decided not to.

Seeking remote or work-from-home opportunities due to physical limitations.

Worked for Gas a Mat Corp...Cashiered mostly..gas station/ mini mart. Worked as an Assistant Manager on weekends. We had the cheapest fuel in town, multitasking was the norm. Was asked if I wanted to be manager. At that time I was going through divorce. Worked there through 5 managers. Enjoyed my regulars. Retail isn't for everyone; I enjoyed customer interaction 99% of the time.

I overseen cash drawers, trained employees on daily routine, writing down gas totals on each pump, ordered fuel, opening store, closing duties. Sometimes working open to close. Reconciled cash for day, counting and readying bank deposits for Monday bank run. Checked on competitor fuel prices and relayed that back to Corporate.

Executed front desk responsibilities, such as typing bids for prospective clients. Telephone and errands.

Also from 1987 on I was a full time Mom while also working for our Company.
