Summary

I have a background of experience in the Production and manufacturing of equipment since I left school, starting off working at a garage where I completed my apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.

I moved on to work on with larger equipment in the food industry where I was part of an installation team and later moving to the company that I presently work at becoming a Lead in the engineering team.

I decided several years ago that my interests were with the Health and safety side of the job and proceeded to gain the required qualifications to become a Health and Safety professional.

I currently have meetings with the American side of the company to demonstrate that we conform to the standards that are set by the HSE and take part in weekly discussions regarding the requirements compared to that of the OSHA regulations that they adhere to.

I am very passionate about the role that I carry out as it is ensuring peoples safety and am very particular to detail.

I carry out all risk assessments in my current role and complete permits to work ensuring all Rams meet the required specifications.
