- Architected, designed, developed and maintained 2D and 3D (X-ray and CT-based, resp.) pre-operative hip arthroplasty surgery planners (e.g. ONE Planner® Hip) and the Move Forward service which included topics ranging from computer graphics, system architecture, CI/CD and DevOps activities, in the context of a scrum team
- Created a Python version of Vue (Collagraph) to provide a Vue-like experience to the rest of the team for building desktop applications with 3D graphics. Supports linting, formatting and syntax highlighting for single-file components
- Prototyped a segmentation tool (Arbiter ONE) that leverages Collagraph with a plugin system for segmentation algorithms and built the CI pipeline that packages and installs the application and runs the test suite on the installed version, in order to prevent problems with missing dependencies and have an installer readily available for testers
- Wrote and implemented internal procedures in order to comply with IEC 62304, IEC 82304, ISO 14971 and ISO 13485 and optimize the design and development process of SaMD
- Architected and automated publishing of all documents and trace matrices needed for compliant SaMD release and check the validity of all traces from risks to risk control measures to tests to verification on every commit to enable fast iteration
- Prototyped the web-based successor of Move Forward that included bone cuts simulations and rich 3D visualizations with interactive explanations on performed measurements
- Provided consultancy to Patient-Matched Implants group (PMI), enhancing their collaboration with surgeons by crafting a solution that generates PDFs featuring an interactive 3D viewer and a carousel of customizable views
