  • Managing Director of all 4 Legal Entities of DNV in the Netherlands, totaling an annual revenue of >150m and >650 Employees and spanning all business areas and its 4 office locations. The DNV business has grown >20% YoY consistently, with profitability increasing towards 10%.
  • Focus on this role is on Statutory & Stakeholder Management on behalf of DNV Group as well as Positioning, X-Business Area business development and Employer Branding of DNV in the Netherlands. Team has grown from 450 to 650 employees over the last 5 years
  • Chair of Country Management Team Netherlands, facilitating X-Business Area discussions to reach consensus and drive decision-making, while providing leadership and direction to ensure smooth operations. This includes 4 rounds of successful annual Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) negotiations with labour unions.

  • Managing a portfolio of high impact business improvement projects for the 4 categories of the Business Group Domestic Appliances (DA), with a total cost saving impact of >2.5m
  • Business Division Consumer Lifestyle's Open Innovation leader. Thought leader and pioneer of web and network based approach of finding and contracting external and unconventional sources of Ideas, Materials and Technologies. 12 technologies and innovative concepts sourced through this approach found their way into new product launches.
  • Director Metals & Processing, leading competence cluster of metal science and manufacturing technologies comprising of >25 experts within the Philips Advanced Technology Center in Drachten. The materials and manufacturing technologies behind successful innovations as Philips One-blade and Sonicare electric toothbrush was developed by this cluster.
