I handle, examine, and treat all species of companion animals as a veterinarian. I carry out x-rays, blood samples, ultrasound scans and dental treatments. I maintain up to date records. Provide emergency services when needed, demonstrating adaptability and quick thinking under pressure.

I have written many evidence based client hand outs and have contributed to patient standard of care protocols. I am part of focus groups researching certain subjects such as anaesthesiology, euthanasia and health and safety including mental health and well-being with the goal to improve patient care and outcome and staff wellbeing. I organise community outreach programs to increase parvo vaccine cover around the region. I am also the TVC liason for animal foster and rescue organisations we work with. I have written an extensive evidence based pregnancy policy for staff. I am involved in training and guiding young and new staff members.
