IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENTS

Rehabilitated Khartoun North Power Station to operate at its maximum capacity

Supervised the implementation of the advance payment system project at the National Electricity Corporation.

Built and established most of the customer service offices at the National Electricity Corporation.

Reduced commercial and technical electricity losses from 43% to 18%.

Participated in developing the Corporation's short-term plan from 2005 to 2010 to increase generation to 5,000 megawatts.

Participated in developing the National Electricity Corporation's long-term plan from 2005 to 2030.

Participated in the committee for connecting the Merowe Dam project network to the national grid.

We won the President's Quality Award as the best public administration in Sudan.

Rehabilitated Heglig electricity grid and power station in just ten days after they were destroyed following their liberation by the Sudanese army when they were occupied by the government of South Sudan.

Formed rehabilitation team of Sudanese experts to rehabilitate Power generation stations in oil fields, replacing contracts with foreign companies and saving $1 million annually.

Planned and implemented an RTU project to monitor producing oil wells.

Reduced oil deferment due to power outages to a minimum after implementing a system monitoring and control program.
