• Advising global Product and Tech teams, with a primary focus on ensuring responsible, safe and compliant Generative AI and ML products, by providing comprehensive legal and regulatory risk assessments to mitigate risks at every stage of the AI development journey.
• Managing the operations of the AI Legal taskforce, with +10 senior and junior members, to ensure smooth work progress and effective prioritization.
• Continuously improving risk assessment processes for AI and other product initiatives to make processes more efficient and, where applicable, to ensure that requirements of new regulations such as DSA, DMA and the EU AI act are embedded into the process.
• Advising senior leadership on the phased compliance requirements for the AI Act, including the development of policies and frameworks to support implementation.
• Providing training and education to internal teams on AI related legal and ethical issues.

Focus on Regulatory Affairs and Consumer Law in the 17 Spanish-speaking countries in which the company operates

• Drafted terms and conditions relating to banned, unsafe or mislabelled products.
• Conducted regulatory research and policy analysis for the launch of white label products.
• Managed external legal counsel and developed key performance indicators to measure the impact of their work, a novel approach that resulted in improved performance and cost savings.
