Andrew Milley

I operate a small business from my own shop where I develop performance products for snowmobiles. It is a great challenge to improve upon already high performance equipment. Requires outside the box thinking, time management, a healthy relationship with suppliers and great customer service.

I have Field and Garage welding experience. Breakdowns, and all major jobs in MSG4. Shock subs rebuilds, drill mast overhaul, side frame overhaul, cable reel modifications and general component repair. I excel at problem solving, using materials that are available to solve problems with no plans and no drawings. I also took lead in general garage housekeeping, organizing and ordering gasses and steel.

I started my Millwright apprenticeship and earned my Journeyperson certification in the Pellet Plant. Worked on all sorts of equipment from pumps to conveyors to mills. Transferred to the mine in 2012, and worked on the Shovel Improvement Team for approximately 18 months. From June 2013 to June 2019 I specialized in drill maintenance. I have been involved with every Komatsu 320 build since 41 drill, been on multiple overhauls but most enjoy troubleshooting and break downs. Even now as a welder I most enjoy commissioning new and overhauled drills when all 3 trades have to work together.
