As a Distribution Coordinator at NuVasive, you will play a crucial role in managing the distribution of medical equipment used in spine surgery. This role emphasizes the delivery of excellent customer service, meticulous attention to detail, and seamless logistics to ensure that surgical teams receive the correct, complete, and on-time instruments and implant sets. Your contributions will support NuVasive’s mission to provide innovative solutions for spine surgery and deliver better patient outcomes.

• Loan Set Management:Manage the distribution of loan sets to and from hospitals, ensuring sets are complete and correct for surgeries.
  Prepare necessary shipping documentation and ensure shipment tracking.
  Schedule and coordinate loan set movements with customer service and hospital staff.
  Perform set audits and quality checks to meet established protocols.
  
• Order Fulfillment:Pick, pack, and customize instrument and implant sets according to surgical procedure requirements and surgeon preferences.
  Fulfill and ship customer stocking orders.
  
• Inventory Management:Monitor inventory for shortages and communicate with Customer Service on requirements.
  Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits for accuracy.
  
• Process Improvement & Training:Work closely with the Manager, Operations, on training, product knowledge, and process improvements.
  Maintain and contribute to NuVasive’s culture, emphasizing positivity, pace, and exceptional customer care.
  
• Relationship Management:Maintain key working relationships with Sales and Operations teams.
  Attend CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) visits as needed.
  
• Compliance:Ensure that hospital credentials, physical requirements, and vaccination requirements (including COVID-19 vaccines) are met for hospital access.
  Maintain and process RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations) as per protocols.
  

• Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure that loan sets are complete, accurate, and aligned with surgical requirements.
• Technical Aptitude: A passion for learning, even without prior medical experience, and the ability to handle technical products.
• Customer Service Orientation: Strong focus on providing excellent support to hospitals and internal teams.
• Problem Solving: Ability to quickly address issues related to logistics, inventory, or shipment discrepancies.
• Teamwork: Commitment to collaborating with team members and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
• Physical Requirements: Comfortable with heavy lifting and movement of equipment (up to 20 kg).

• Previous experience in operations, logistics, or distribution is desirable, but not essential.
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience is preferred but not mandatory.
