- I worked full-time at software company SAP for a year, as an intern in their legal department. My tasks included assisting the in-house counsels both in the Netherlands and in the EMEA region, reviewing and redlining contracts, shadowing negotiations, polishing official briefs and memos, and preparing both internal and customer-facing responses to legal questions. I was also in charge of reviewing all NDAs for the Benelux region.
- In addition to this, I assisted with corporate housekeeping, which strengthened my skills both in Microsoft Office (i.e., scheduling meetings, creating an internal Sharepoint to organise the team's files into clear and orderly systems) and in other software such as contract management systems (i.e., preparing and sending documents for signature) and expense tracking software such as Brightflag and Persuit.
