Contribute to the development of a model-based testing tool and a domain-specific language tool, while also engaging in web development tasks and working with frontend technologies.

As a Research Assistant at the University of Amsterdam and the Complex Cyber Infrastructure (CCI) group, I contribute to updating the master's course curriculum, support students, and conduct research.

• Created a user-friendly web application that included an innovative split-screen interface for coding
• This platform catered to both programmers and non-technical individuals by displaying the source code on the left side and providing a real-time interactive visual representation on the right side
• Updates from both models are seamlessly updated between the two sides, allowing changes to be reflected instantly.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analysis on best technologies to be used per scenario
• Analyze client requirements and convert to technical requirements
• Develop readable, reusable and efficient code
• Create detailed and functional unit tests and prototype testing
• Create CI/CD pipelines to assure quality of code and services
• Create responsive and functional UI components
• Design and develop databases
• Development of efficient queries, partitions and stored procedures
• Create docker containers used for local development and deployment
• Mentor new developers to use best practices and team-based standards
• Tracking and monitoring of tasks using agile methodologies and technologies such as JIRA
• Utilize Linux and Mac OS tools for efficient and local development

Main Projects:

• Malta Business Registry: Designed and developed backend and frontend modules for features such as a penalty system , a certificate generation system, migration of a large database to a modern and auditable schema, and an annual process system
• Micro Services: Developed backend microservices which communicate with a core repository or imported to client repositories, examples of such services include a digital signatures system, a document management system which integrates with Azure File system, a unit and mock HTTP testing framework, and an email templating system.
